Drama in Yelvertoft (DIY)

DIY began performing in 2007, the first production being “Who killed Santa Claus” and has aimed to put on a production every year, whenever possible.

Our offerings have often been comedic, occasionally dramatic, and have always been well received. Whilst we endeavour to put on the best performance we can, we also like to have fun doing it. As well as those who wish to tread the boards, we have members whose talents lie in production, stage management, props, sound and lighting and set design.

We are always looking to recruit new members to our group of all ages, in whatever area they think they would enjoy contributing, or if that’s not your thing, then as members of our audience. Not all our members want to act, and we have a valued contingent of props, sound and light, and costume providers. We always perform published plays, and whilst producing the best possible performance we can, we aim to have a good laugh getting there.
